Whats the best way to wash walls top to bottom?

TSP..Its a very good wall cleaner..Whats the best way to wash walls top to bottom?
Trisodium phosphate. At the hardware store you can get it %26amp; add it to soap, or read labels to find it in other soap preparations. It really melts the grime and dirt.
First check out what kind of paint you have on your walls. If you can wipe the wall and the paint comes off on the rag, you have ';flat'; finish paint. This is hard to clean without wiping off the paint. You will probably just have to repaint the walls. If it's a little shiny ie ';egg shell or satin'; finish you should be able to wipe it down with a mild soap and water solution. No special cleaners required.
If you have white walls use bleach on some sort of brush broom. If they are not white try lysol.
you should always wash walls from bottom to top! not top to bottom. if you start at the top, any drips or dribbles can stain the paint, you'll end up with clean lines running down the wall. also don't use a lot of soap in the wash water or you'll leave a soap film and that will mean you'll have to do extra rinses to get it off. if you are planning to repaint the walls then use TSP, but if not, any household cleaner will do. i use two sponges for cleaning walls, one with a scrubber on the back for washing, and a big car wash type for rinsing. when you rinse them, use hot water and change it often. good luck, and i know you'll be having lots of fun!!
Hot soapy water and lots of good old elbow grease I'm afraid
